A fireproof door is a movable fireproof partition. High fire-resistant fire doors are usually installed in firewalls, front rooms, corridors, and stairwells. It is one of the important facilities that can effectively block the fire and ensure the safe evacuation of personnel.

In general, fire doors are classified based on their combustion performance into non combustible fire doors and refractory fire doors; According to the opening method, there are swing doors, sliding doors, hanging doors (lifting doors), and rolling shutter doors.

China divides fire doors into three levels: they must withstand fire for 1.2 hours and are mostly made of double-sided thin steel plates filled with calcium silicate board and ceramic wool. They are mainly used at the door openings of fire compartments; Grade B requires a fire resistance of 0.9 hours. Its structure consists of thick wooden boards with single or double sided asbestos boards and iron sheets. Some wood materials are treated with fire-resistant impregnation and are mainly installed at the entrances of stairwells, lobbies, and fire elevator lobbies; Class C should have a fire resistance of 0.6 hours and is mainly used as a maintenance door for pipeline wells.
